Su suggerimento della mia amica e coinquilina Des, ho voluto provare lo yahoo launchcast, che consente di ottenere un flusso audio “Personalizzato”.
In sostanza e’ un servizio online che consente di selezionare delle preferenze e di ottenere la trasmissione della musica in streaming.
Il sistema funziona, almeno per i miei gusti abbastanza variegati (dai jethro tull ai franz ferdinand) e proprio come mi ha detto Des, questa specie di “stazione radio personalizzata” si adegua per soddisfare i miei gusti.
Infatti di ogni canzone posso votare quanto mi piace l’artista, la canzone e l’album da cui e’ tratta. E questo contribuisce a modificare la playlist in tempo reale. (posso anche cacciare via degli artisti che mi propone e non mi piacciono, oltre a “saltare” al brano dopo).
Svantaggi:
– Richiede un account yahoo (che e’ gratuito)
– Ogni tanto ci sono una decina di secondi che pubblicizzano il servizio
– Funziona solo con internet explorer.
Quest’ultimo e’ un po’ un problema, ma per avere musica ad hoc senza doverla scaricare… insomma: e’ “solo” un player musicale orrendamente espanso 😉
E per navigare uso firefox 😉
Direi che come compromesso gratuito non c’e’ male. Probabilmente la scelta non sara’ vastissima, ma per ampliare la mia cultura musicale mi rivolgo alla mia personal audiology trainer 😉

edit: e ora gli “a perfect circle”. =:) Se ci fosse qualcosa dei Tool… magari se assegno voti altissimi agli A.P.C magari escono fuori anche i Tool 🙂
